PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE PTFE thread seal tape is a cutting-edge, ideal sealing material with superb anti-corrosive properties. How to use PTFE thread seal tape?

1. Begin by removing any foreign objects from the connecting parts, ensuring they are thoroughly clean.

2. Be mindful of the wrapping direction. For instance, if using an angle valve, as you screw it into the inner wall thread clockwise, wrap the tape counterclockwise. This strategic wrapping ensures the angle valve tightens effectively, preventing any loosening.

3. During wrapping, apply ample tension to the PTFE thread seal tape so it adheres snugly to the threading. Aim for a tight wrap, and avoid loosening. After wrapping, use your hands to firmly rotate and press it into place, or alternatively, press as you wrap.

4. The number of wrapping layers isn't rigidly specified; just ensure it achieves a non-leak tightness. Based on experience, over ten wraps are typically needed to guarantee optimal sealing.

5. When tightening the thread, avoid excessive force. Apply moderate pressure—just enough to feel firm resistance with your hand—ensuring a robust seal without over-tightening.
