How to use PTFE thread seal tape?

1. Begin by removing any foreign objects from the connecting parts, ensuring they are impeccably clean.

2. Carefully consider the wrapping direction. For example, when screwing an angle valve into the wall's inner thread, rotate it clockwise. Conversely, wrap the raw PTFE tape counterclockwise, ensuring it tightens instead of loosening as the valve is screwed.

3. During wrapping, apply tension to the PTFE thread seal tape, ensuring it adheres tightly to the thread. Maintain a firm grip, avoiding any slack. After wrapping, press and rotate it using your hands, or simultaneously wrap and press for optimum adherence.

4. There's no strict rule on the number of wrapping layers; enough to prevent leakage suffices. Typically, more than ten wraps are recommended to guarantee a robust sealing effect.

5. When tightening the thread, apply moderate force. Avoid excessive tightening, as a firm hand feel is sufficient to prevent leaks.
