How to use PTFE thread seal tape?

1. Meticulously clear any foreign objects from the connecting parts to maintain pristine cleanliness.

2. Mindfully consider the wrapping direction. For instance, when attaching the angle valve into the wall's inner thread, it should be rotated clockwise to the right. Hence, wrap the tape counterclockwise to the left around the angle valve, ensuring that tightening the valve results in a secure, non-loosening fit.

3. During application, ensure the PTFE thread seal tape is wound tightly around the thread, creating a firm adhesion. Strive for maximum tautness, and post-wrapping, apply pressure by hand to ensure it remains snugly in place. Alternatively, you may compress the tape while wrapping it.

4. Although no strict guidelines dictate the number of layers, it's critical to achieve a tight, leak-proof seal. Typically, based on experienced precision, more than ten windings are recommended for optimal sealing efficacy.

5. Exercise caution when tightening the thread; excessive force is unnecessary. Gentle pressure suffices to secure the seal as long as the hand senses adequate firmness during tightening.
